Chapter 21 First Time Fabian Walked A Girl home

At the age of twelve what do boys understand about girls.For Fabian it was plainly nothing nor he knows more about them accept a girl was like his sister with long hair,that all.Girls on the contrary knew more about boys that boys do about girls.Right?Those not agreeing please put up your hands.

In fact the girls were taller than most boys the same age,that is for sure,maybe smarter,too.Fabian at the age of twelve once meet a girl also the same age.She was taller than him by more than a head.She was considerably fair and pretty,with long hair.

Actually she was from Penang ,her parents were on transfer to Teluk Anson as a Post master.When they came they resided at Fabian's uncle's house temporarily.There were four siblings,all girls,two elder sisters and one younger sister.

Being new to town,Fabian offered to help the girl about his age twelve around
It was very normal as just simple friends ,there was no attraction or other feelings towards her.Anyway we were never alone as she had a younger sister tagging along.

Fabian was shy and talked only when talked to,that was all as they walked home.But as they passed Bruce 's home,he saw it,and started making fun at Fabian.He shouted,"Hey,Fabian has a girl friend".

"Fabian has a girl friend and she is pretty,but Fabian you are a shorty standing near her".

That really shocked Fabian and he had no reply to that remark.Instead he began to walk farther and farther from that girl.The girl sensing Fabian was unduly embarrassed by that harassment smiled politely at Fabian,giving him some assurance that she was not bothered by those remarks.

So Fabian sportingly ignored those Bruce's remarks and walked on home with her.That was the first time Fabian walked a girl home.There was no doubt that was a very beautiful girl,a tall and charming girl.Unfortunately Fabian was than only twelve years old and bored no attraction towards her.

Fabian had no further contacts with her,so no relationship was built up from there.In any case her family also shifted of his uncle's house not long after that.Fabian also shifted away from his house at Anson road when he was thirteen plus years old.

Thus that beautiful girl never crossed Fabian's path thereafter.Yet his mind dwelt a beautiful tall girl named Dolly.Fond memories were always good memories.
